CrossFit Kids is the principal strength and conditioning program for many young athletes. It is increasingly being used by schools, sports teams, and many parents who want their kids to grow up healthy and strong, fostering a life long love of fitness and, in turn, avoiding the common problems associated with childhood inactivity and obesity. The program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Healthy living requires that our kids push, pull, run, throw, climb, lift, and jump, effectively and safely.

 The CrossFit Kids program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any child regardless of age or experience. 

 CrossFit Kids programs can be found in over 1,800 gyms and more than 1,000 schools worldwide.


About Our Kids Program: Jersey Devil CrossFit Kids

The Jersey Devil CrossFit Kids program is a strength and conditioning program for kids ages 3 & up. We base our program on the principles of Mechanics, Consistency, and then Intensity, emphasizing good movement throughout childhood and adolescence. This translates into enhanced performance on the playground, in sports, and in the classroom.

By laying a solid foundation of fitness ideals from an early age, we can reduce risk of disease and injury, while building a better future for our young ones.

Jersey Devil CrossFit Kids puts an emphasis on fun. Every session includes a warm-up, focus work on a basic athletic movement and or gymnastics skill, a short Workout of the Day, and games.  Classes are structured to give the athletes progressive exposure to gymnastics and strength training as well as an increase in self-esteem and confidence.

  • Little Devils  -  Our Little Devils class is for the tiny CrossFitter in your family, ages 3-6 years old (must be potty trained). The class is a basic introduction to functional movement through fun and games. Classes are 30-45 minutes long.

 

  • Big Devils  -  Our Big Devils class is our beginners class for ages 7 and up.  Here kids and teens new to CrossFit will learn and have fun in a 45 minute class laying a foundation for lifelong fitness.

 

  • Teen Devils  -   Our Teens class is for CrossFitters ages 13 and up who are ready for intermediate class. An emphasis remains on safety and technique, but these teens are ready to bring some intensity to their workouts.  Classes are one hour long.

Team Strength & Conditioning Program

If you are a coach looking to get your team in their best shape then a CrossFit-based strength and conditioning program is for you! We'll lay the foundation your kids need to be strong competitors in their sport. Team coaching pricing varies depending on the number of sessions and number of athletes. If you are interested in Team Coaching, please call us at 609-561-0811.
