Rick Adamucci

Owner & Head Coach

CrossFit Level 1, CrossFit Endurance, CrossFit Power Lifting, CrossFit Olympic Lifting

Rick is a lifelong fitness athlete who discovered CrossFit while recovering from Lymphoma in 2005. Rick is a loving husband and proud father of 3, as well as the full time owner of an HVAC and Heating Oil Company. "I always have a million things going on at one time, but I feel that a healthy Work/Life Balance is essential to happiness. CrossFit allowed me to pursue a high level of health and fitness without sacrificing time with my friends and family. Opening Jersey Devil CrossFit was my way of sharing what I had found with my friends and the community of Hammonton."

Corie Adamucci

Coach

CrossFit Level 1, CrossFit Kids

Corie got into CrossFit in 2009 when her dad talked her into doing workouts out of their cramped home gym together. She was immediately hooked, became a Level 1 Trainer in 2013, and more recently became a CrossFit Kids Trainer in 2014. Corie holds a BS in Nutrition and is currently practicing as a Registered Dietitian and owner/operator of Get Real Nutrition, LLC. Corie hopes to combine her love of food and nutrition with a passion to help others, adults and kids alike, to improve their fitness and have fun while doing it.

Sal Petteti

Coach

CrossFit Level 1

Sal has been training at Jersey Devil CrossFit since their opening. A folkstyle and freestyle since the age of 6, Sal was a wrestler for Shore Thing Wrestling Club as well as for Hammonton High School. He was injured his senior year and a year later he discovered CrossFit and all its benefits. Sal became a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and has been making an impact ever since. Sal is currently the assistant coach of the Hammonton Middle School wrestling team and attends Stockton University as a Historical Studies major with a  concentration in Education.

Evan Smith

Coach

CrossFit Level 1

Evan's background in fitness started playing football, wrestling, and lacrosse for Seneca High School. Although he was offered scholarships to 3 colleges, Evan decided to turn in his football uniform for that of the United States Army New Jersey National Guard. He attended basic training and advanced schooling in Fort Jackson South Carolina for 8 months. Upon returning to NJ, Evan felt out of place. He had grown accustomed to training everyday and needed something to fill the gap; Crossfit filled that gap. He started classes at OTG in Williamstown and slowly made his way here to Jersey Devil. Evan became a Level 1 Crossfit Instructor for the gym early after joining in 2012 and has been a trainer and competitor ever since. He is currently a full time Federal Technician, still in the Army uniform and finishing his Bachelors.

Adam Shimborski

Coach

CrossFit Level 1

After a few years of hearing about CrossFit, Adam finally took the plunge in 2012. His first WOD crushed him. He laid on the ground gasping for 15 minutes... then signed up for a membership. He knew this methodology was onto something.  Adam has a busy day. He leaves for work every day at 5:30am; with a 3 hour round trip commute, he doesn't get back into town until 6pm. He has a wife and two beautiful children. Short, intense, and effective workouts are of the utmost importance to him, which is why CrossFit works so well. While Adam also has an athletic and active background, he prioritizes family, healthy living, learning, helping others, and a sense of community. Adam became a Level 1 Trainer in 2014 after seeing all the advantages of the CrossFit methodology and feeling a need to help others benefit the same way he had.

OUR JERSEY DEVIL CROSSFIT COMMUNITY HAS SEEN THE BENEFITS OF CONSTANTLY VARIED, HIGH INTENSITY, FUNCTIONAL FITNESS. NOW IT’S OUR TURN TO SHOW YOU THE BENEFITS OF THE CROSSFIT METHODOLOGY. THIS IS US STARTING THE CONVERSATION.

Joe Sr. has been a certified level 1 coach for 3 years, deciding to become a coach when realizing he was spending more time at the box than out of it! He is also an IAABO high school basketball referee with a love for all sports, Joe says, "CrossFit has redefined how I view fitness and is the reason that at 51, my own fitness has never been better. Being able to witness firsthand the impact CrossFit has on people of all ages, shapes, sizes, and athletic ability is one of my favorite parts of being a coach. Thanks to CrossFit going to the gym is no longer a chore for me."

Joe wilsbach jr.

Joe Jr. has been crossfitting for over 2 years, all as a Jersey Devil member. He won a powerlifting gold medal when he was only 16 at the NJ State Powerlifting Championships.
